About this tool
Some kids settle faster when their blanket feels just right. This thick, velvety flannel throw gives kids who love soft textures a cozy layer to curl up under at bedtime, on the couch or during quiet time.
It is a dense, 300 g/m² flannel blanket, which means it feels plush and substantial in your hands. It is not a weighted blanket and does not provide deep pressure. If you're looking for a heavier, hug-like feel, see our weighted blankets instead.
- Size: 180 × 200 cm (about 71 × 79 in)
- Material: polyester flannel
- Colors: blue, caramel, dark gray, fruit green, milky white, milky yellow, pink, purple, silver gray
- Best for: cooler months, bedtime routines, reading corners
Earl's OT Note
Touch is one of the first ways kids decide whether a space feels safe. Many of the children I work with are very particular about fabric: scratchy seams, stiff sheets or thin blankets can make winding down harder. A soft, predictable texture they choose themselves can become part of a bedtime routine, like a cue that says "this is the part of the day where we slow down." Let your child pick the color, and keep the blanket in the same spot each night.

This may not be the right fit if…
- Your child is looking for deep pressure or a weighted, hugging feel (try a weighted blanket or lap pad).
- Your child runs hot at night or dislikes fuzzy, napped fabrics.
- You need a blanket for a baby under 12 months.
Safety
Do not use loose blankets in a crib or for infants under 12 months, in line with safe-sleep guidance. Keep away from open flames and heat sources. Supervise young children.
Is this a weighted blanket?
No. "Heavyweight" refers to the thick flannel fabric (300 g/m²), not added weight.
What size is it?
180 × 200 cm (about 71 × 79 in), large enough for a twin bed or a couch throw.
How do I wash it?
Follow the care label included with the blanket.
Building a calm-down corner? Pair this blanket with a weighted plush or lounger.
