We're Hiring · Brewer, Maine Clinic
Join a clinical team that treats the nervous system, not just the behavior.
Sensory Therapy Place is hiring a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our growing Brewer, Maine clinic. If you're drawn to reflex-informed, trauma-informed, whole-child care — and tired of productivity-driven models that don't leave room for real clinical thinking — we'd love to talk.
About the role
We're looking for a full-time or part-time licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to provide pediatric evaluation and treatment at our Brewer, Maine clinic. You'll work alongside a five-person clinical team using a shared neurodevelopmental framework — sensory integration, primitive reflex integration, and craniosacral therapy — with children navigating autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, trauma, and developmental delays. Telehealth caseload availability as well.
Why therapists choose Sensory Therapy Place
Real clinical time
No churn-and-burn productivity quotas. Evaluations and sessions are built for depth, not volume.
Specialized training
Mentorship in primitive reflex integration and craniosacral therapy from Earl Mamaril, MS, OTR/L, and our clinical director.
A collaborative team
Weekly case consults with OTR/Ls and COTAs who all work from the same clinical philosophy — you're never treating in isolation.
Flexible caseload options
Mix of in-clinic and telehealth sessions available, with scheduling flexibility for full-time or part-time therapists.
A calm, intentional clinic
Our Brewer space is designed to be regulating for clients and staff alike — not a chaotic, fluorescent-lit gym.
Room to grow
As the clinic expands into school-based consultation and parent coaching programs, there's real room to shape new service lines.
What we're looking for
- Active Maine OTR/L license (or eligible for licensure)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Interest in sensory integration & reflex integration
- Warm, collaborative, family-centered approach
- Comfortable with both in-clinic and telehealth formats
- New grads with strong pediatric fieldwork welcome to apply
